Sprint Tank GmbH is leveling up its coffee offer by partnering with Costa Coffee to offer the brand’s products across its fuel retail network in Germany.

According to a market survey by the German Coffee Association, Germans drink 56 liters of coffee a year per person in out-of-home sales. For years, the trend has also been towards high-quality coffee drinks at service stations, that is why the brand is changing its coffee solution provider.

Whether espresso, caffè crema or filter coffee - premium coffee enjoyment in barista quality has been available at around 100 Sprint locations. Costa Coffee came out on top against well-known coffee roasters in a national tender and after a test phase lasting several months.

Sprint Tank has been offering coffee across its retail network  for 15 years now, which means that the chain knows the criteria a partner should fulfill in this area.

"Costa Coffee is a dynamic, bold brand that offers the whole package needed to successfully sell coffee at petrol stations in the future: maximum enjoyment at an attractive price, with high-impact advertising materials and unparalleled service," explains Duraid El Obeid, Managing Director of Sprint Tank GmbH.

Sprint has been operating in the German fuel retail market for over 30 years, operating around 140 service stations nationwide. The brand's modern store and bistro concept provides customers with fresh quality baked goods and snacks as well as tobacco products, newspapers and magazines.
