Sesé and Repsol are partnering for the largest renewable fuel supply agreement in Spain

Following the initial pilot tests in 2022 with this type of fuel in freight transportation, both companies have reached a supply agreement of eight million liters over the next two years. This quantity would be enough to cover 26.6 million kilometers by land.

The agreement represents an estimated reduction of 18,000 tons of CO2, as it will reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%.

"For Repsol, it is great news to announce this new collaboration with Sesé, an old friend who trusted in our renewable fuels two years ago and continues to firmly support them as a solution for the present and future," said Estíbaliz Pombo, Senior Manager of Energy Products at Repsol.

Currently, Sesé has already covered more than 4.5 million kilometers with this technology, and 15% of its own freight transport fleet in Spain already operates with renewable fuel, including 40 modular vehicles.

Moreover, the company has set the goal of eliminating 100% of fossil fuels from its fleet in Europe by 2030.
